9th March 2016 New Seminar in Univerity of Marseille. Next 10th of March Prof. Peter Zeppenfeld will give a seminar on "Optical Spectroscopy of Surfaces, Thin Films and Nanostructures"
9th February 2016 42 Month meeting and final workshop. Zurich 17 to 19th February. The Workshop will sumarize the first conclusions and evaluate the Project. A review on the future perspectives of kesterites from the research point of view towards their industrialization for large scale thin films modules production will be done.
28th January 2016 Second defense of a PhD Thesis in the project Kestcells. ESR 5.1 Dario Cozza has defended his PHD thesis “Modeling and physical studies of kesterite solar cells”
23rd December 2015 Kestcells in the media. An article summarizing the advances of project KESTCELLS has been published in the generalist journal Solar News. The article highlights the training of the research fellows and the scientific advances of the investigation during the last year.
30th November 2015 First defense of a PhD Thesis of a Kestcells ESR.Mirjana Dimitrievska, ESR1.3 of project Kestcells will defense her PHD thesis “Crystalline and vibrational properties of Kesterites” next 21-12-15 in the University of Barcelona.
18th November 2015 The industrial secondments foreseen in the world leading solar company ABENGOA have been completed. The company is conducting in the project KESTCELLS a techno-economic analysis of kesterite technology; as well as an analysis of the critical points of the manufacturing process and the semiconductor.
